Applies to all Webekspres service orders

Refund Policy

This policy explains how Webekspres handles payments, domains, hosting, and service work after an order is confirmed.

1. Policy summary

All sales are final. PT Webekspres Teknologi Indonesia ("Webekspres", "we") does not provide refunds for services that have already been ordered and paid for.

Please make sure the domain name, service package, scope of work, and any design or references you have chosen are correct before completing payment.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all transactions through Webekspres, including but not limited to:

  • Website development services (SME sites, company profiles, online stores, portals, and similar)

  • Development of systems, web applications, or mobile applications

  • Packages that include domain, hosting, email, or supporting services

  • Maintenance subscriptions, content management, or related digital services

  • Setup, configuration, migration, or add-on fees agreed on in the invoice

This policy complements our Terms & Conditions. In case of conflict, the more specific terms in a written project agreement may apply to that scope of work, without changing the final-sale principle below.

3. Why we do not offer refunds

Webekspres does not offer refunds because the ordering process involves costs and commitments that begin as soon as payment is confirmed, including:

  • Registering or renewing a domain name with a registrar

  • Provisioning or activating hosting and server infrastructure

  • Procuring licenses, templates, plugins, or third-party services where relevant

  • Allocating team time for analysis, design, development, and project communication

Once the steps above begin, these costs generally cannot be recovered from third parties or from our internal work allocation.

4. Domain, hosting, and third-party services

A domain name that has already been registered in your name or through a Webekspres account cannot be cancelled with a refund. Domain fees follow the registrar's terms and applicable annual cycle.

Hosting, email, SSL, or other infrastructure services that have already been activated also cannot be refunded. If a third-party service has its own policy, that policy governs that component and does not create any refund obligation for Webekspres beyond what is stated here.

You are responsible for checking the domain spelling, extension (TLD), and WHOIS or customer data before we process registration.

5. Service work and project progress

For design, development, or implementation services:

  • Payments already received for a stage that has started or been completed cannot be refunded

  • Revisions follow the quota or terms agreed at the start. Requests outside the agreed scope are additional work (a change request) and may incur a new charge rather than a refund

  • If you delay, pause, or fail to provide required materials, the schedule may shift. This does not automatically create a right to a refund

  • Deliverables already provided (files, staging access, documents, or digital assets) remain part of the completion of our obligations for the stage that was paid

6. Data errors or customer decisions

Domain spelling errors, choosing a package that does not fit well, changing design direction after approval, or changing the brief after work has started are not grounds for a refund.

If it is still technically possible, we can help with corrections or adjustments. This assistance may involve an additional fee based on an estimate we share with you in advance.

7. Cancellation by the customer

You may request that a project be stopped at any time with written notice (by email or the official channel we agree on). Stopping the project does not refund payments already made.

For work that has not fully started at a particular stage, we may, at our discretion, offer to adjust the scope of the remaining work or provide a service credit for the future. This offer is optional, not an obligation, and must be confirmed in writing.

8. Technical disruptions and events beyond our control

Temporary disruptions to the site, hosting, or third-party services (including maintenance, network issues, or force majeure) do not create a right to a refund, as long as we make reasonable efforts to restore service as agreed.

We are not liable for indirect losses, data loss on the customer's side, or downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

9. Complaints and clarification

If you feel there is a mismatch between what was paid for and what was delivered, contact us right away with the following:

  • Invoice number or proof of payment

  • Domain name or project name

  • A short description of the issue and supporting evidence (screenshots, links, timeline)

We will review the complaint in good faith. The review aims to resolve a service mismatch (a fix, scope clarification, or another option we agree to), not to open a refund unless required by applicable law.

10. Policy changes

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The version that applies is the one shown on this page on the date of your transaction. Changes do not reduce obligations already arising from earlier orders, unless agreed in writing.
